ECCO aqua toric – Toric monthly lens made of biocompatible material for astigmatisms

The ECCO aqua toric is a monthly replacement toric contact lens that has been specially developed for wearers with astigmatisms between 0.75 dpt and 2.25 dpt . It combines the advantages of a biocompatible material with excellent stabilization for clear and sharp vision. Thanks to the biocompatible surface, which resembles the natural mucin layer of the eye, the lens supports the stability of the tear film and ensures optimal wetting - ideal for wearers with dry eyes.

application and adaptation

The ECCO aqua toric is suitable for contact lens wearers who suffer from residual astigmatism of more than 0.50 dpt and want to take advantage of a biocompatible material. Thanks to the prismatic stabilization, the lens remains stable on the cornea, ensuring clear and stable vision.

For optimal adjustment, the spectacle refraction and corneal radii are crucial. The fit of the lens should be checked after about an hour for centering, mobility, residual correction and stabilization . Twists of up to 20° are tolerable. In the case of deviations relevant to vision, over-refraction and the direction of stabilization should be taken into account when reordering.
